All three of our pickups sit on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Swaledale, Wensleydale, Wharfedale and Nidderdale are all within an hour's drive. Perfect for a long weekend or a slow week of village-hopping.

Best time to go: May-July for wildflowers; September for gold and quiet lanes.
